(KGNS) - The Laredo City Council will hold a Special Council Meeting Friday, Aug. 14, to discuss the proposed city budget and the status of the Hamilton Hotel.

The meeting is scheduled for 12 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, 1110 Houston St. Council members will receive an update on the proposed city budget, including potential cost-saving measures and the prioritization of core city functions and essential services.
