A freight carrier and Amazon Delivery Service Partner is laying off hundreds of people in the San Antonio area.

Boerne-based 4XH Logistics LLC is shuttering operations and laying off 230 local workers.

Company President Gabriel Hilaro said that contract with Amazon has ended, resulting in the company's closure.
