KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - A disabled veteran and her two daughters have been living in motels and, at times, their car, for nearly two months after plumbing and air conditioning problems made their Killeen home unlivable.
Roshawn Anderson served five years in the Army before her military career was cut short."I wanted to do all 20. I went to Iraq for a year and I went to Afghanistan for a year. When I went to Afghanistan, I was diagnosed with blood clot. A massive one and I almost died so they retired me," Anderson said.
Anderson bought the Killeen house eight years ago to give her two daughters a stable home.
