SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - In honor of National Daughters Day, a Smith County mother and daughter are sharing how their relationship extends beyond family to small business ownership and community philanthropy.

Casey Marrow, owner of Refind antiques store, and her mother, Dianne Moore operate their store and contribute to the Women's Fund of Smith County, an organization where members pool their resources to provide grants to area nonprofits.

Moore is a founding member of the fund, an involvement that eventually inspired Marrow to join as a donor."Mom was actually a founding member and she would always invite me to the Power of the Purse," Marrow said.
