MURCHISON, Texas (KLTV) - A Henderson County pair are accused of denying a suspected meth kit was theirs despite it bearing both their names, police say.

Justin Wakeham, 33, and Jasmine Lizotte, 19, both of Murchison, are charged with tampering or fabricating evidence after their Wednesday arrests.

Henderson County Sheriff's Office officials say the duo were found at the Calendar Lake Store on FM 2339 in Murchison after an officer and K-9 unit saw them walking in the road around 3:18 p.m. Once the deputy approached the pair at the store, Wakeham was found to have an active warrant out of neighboring Van Zandt County for assault, the Thursday release says.
