Concert-goers seeking a "unique entertainment experience" are invited to attend the Dark Side of the Moon Halloween Concert in the Dark & Costume Party at Rockbox Theater in Fredericksburg on Friday, Oct. 30, from 7:30-9 p.m. Inspired by Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, the show weaves together live original music, poetry, local ghost stories, stagecraft and audiovisual displays.

Beginning and ending in total darkness, the concert immerses the audience in an intimate theatrical setting with chamber music, blues, rock and original pieces played on acoustic instruments.

The Dark Side of the Moon concert is part of composer Will Taylor's Concerts in the Dark Austin collection, which Taylor strove to make something that is not "a typical concert." "This is something that's really going to take you on a journey," Taylor said.
