PANOLA COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A Gary man is behind bars after stabbing his roommate during an altercation, according to Panola County Sheriff Cutter Clinton.

Jamie Deshone Baldwin, 53, was held Tuesday awaiting arraignment at the Panola County Detention Center on a charge of aggravated assault of a household member with a weapon causing serious bodily injury, according to jail staff.

Around 3:11 a.m. Wednesday, a Panola County dispatcher received a notification that a patient was being treated at a local emergency room for stab wounds, Cutter said.
