WACO, Texas (KWTX) - The Waco-McLennan County Public Health District has confirmed an active tuberculosis case in the greater Waco community, according to a notice sent by Baylor University on Aug. 26 that cited information from the health district.
The person is currently responding well to treatment, per the notice.
Waco Public Health officials say there is no ongoing risk to the wider community, according to the university's notice.
