HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A 10-year-old girl is in the hospital after being hit by a car in northwest Harris County, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office.

Officials said the girl was riding an electric scooter near the intersection of Lincolns Meadow Drive and Dukes Run Drive on Tuesday evening.

Pct. 4 said the girl allegedly ran the stop sign and then was hit in the intersection.
