TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A Tyler police officer has been seriously injured while on duty.

Patrol car after wreck(Tyler Police Department)According to the Tyler Patrolman's Association, Officer Josiah Baxter was injured when a speeding vehicle struck his patrol unit.

It happened on September 18 at 12:20 a.m. while he was on routine patrol.
