A man's body was found at a West Side lake Monday morning, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.

Park police said people were walking at Elmendorf Lake Park, located on West Commerce Street, when they spotted a man, who has yet to be identified, in the water.

Authorities said they pulled the man out and attempted life saving measures, but he would pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
