CONVERSE, Texas - Parents of students at IDEA Converse say children face dangerous traffic conditions when crossing FM 1516 after school.

The charter school is located near FM 1516 and Binz-Engleman Road, where no marked crosswalk or pedestrian signage exists.

During dismissal, parents often park at a nearby Valero gas station and walk across the busy roadway to pick up their children.
