HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A man was detained Thursday afternoon after authorities said he called 911 saying he stabbed his father in northwest Harris County.

HCSO said deputies were dispatched just a little after 11 a.m. to the 16700 block of Stoneside Drive when a man called and said he stabbed his father.

When deputies arrived, they found a man, believed to be in his 60s, dead with multiple stab wounds.
