Bulls, Bands and Boots: 60th Annual Young Farmers Rodeo rides into Pleasanton Aug. 14-15

The 60th Annual Pleasanton Young Farmers Rodeo and Dance returns to Atascosa County Showbarn on August 14-15, featuring rodeo events, a dance, and the announcement of Pleasanton Cowboy of the Year.

The 60th Annual Pleasanton Young Farmers Rodeo and Dance is set for Aug. 14-15 at the Atascosa County Showbarn, promising "One of the Richest Open Rodeos in Texas." The event kicks off Thursday night with slack.

The main events begin Friday at the showbarn, located at 318 Showbarn Road in Pleasanton.

Friday's festivities start at 7 p.m. with the announcement of the Pleasanton Cowboy of the Year and South Texas Hall of Fame inductees.
