MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas - The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office arrested a 15-year-old Willis High School student Thursday afternoon after the student allegedly made statements about shooting other students in a classroom.

The student is being held at the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center and charged with making a terroristic threat Montgomery County sheriff's deputies assigned as school resource officers at Willis High School responded immediately after being notified of the threat and took the student into custody.

The sheriff's office said all threats-whether verbal, written, online or made as a joke-will be taken seriously and could result in criminal charges.
