MADISONVILLE, Texas (KBTX) - As Madisonville Consolidated Independent School District prepares to kick off the new school year on Aug. 12, Superintendent Keith West shared updates on district readiness, leadership transitions and key policies.

Projected impact of school vouchersSuperintendent West said he does not expect a substantial impact from school vouchers in the upcoming year.

He said data from the spring indicated that fewer than 30 local families had inquired about or looked into the voucher program.
