School bus safety: What parents and drivers need to know as buses return to Brazos Valley roads

BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - School buses are returning to Brazos Valley roads this week, and a Bryan Independent School District (ISD) bus driver is outlining the safety measures in place and what drivers and parents need to know before the first bell rings.

Douglas Dickey, a Bryan ISD bus driver with 14 years with the district and more than 30 years holding a commercial driver's license, said the safety process begins before a single student boards.
