Culminating years of planning, the Fredericksburg ISD school board selected Bartlett-Cocke as the construction firm for the 2026 bond improvements at a special meeting Sept. 30.

Project manager Stephen Dorman, with Sledge Engineering, presented the bid comparisons for seven firms that responded to the request for proposals.

Bids were due Sept. 21, and a selection committee interviewed all companies by Sept. 29.
