WOOD COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A man died in the hospital after a Wood County deputy-involved shooting, according to a custodial death report.

Tony Angel Milner, 58, was pronounced dead at 3:57 p.m. on Sept. 2, hours after he was shot by a Wood County sheriff's deputy during a traffic stop, the report said.

According to the report, two Wood County Sheriff's Office deputies were on patrol in the area of County Road 3860 and County Road 3859 attempting to locate a suspicious vehicle.
