More than 900 runners and walkers gathered at Providence High School Saturday for the annual Head for the Cure event, raising more than $75,000 for brain cancer research and patient support programs.

KSAT has helped sponsor the race since 2014 in the fight against brain cancer and to honor late News Director Jim Boyle.

Funds raised support clinical trials and patient-family support programs that serve patients and families in the San Antonio community.
