The 2026 high school football season kicks off tonight in Mullin, then a dozen more games follow Friday night: Three Way at Mullin 7:30 p.m. Thursday The Slater Isbell coaching era begins for the Mullin Bulldogs tonight, as they welcome the Class A Division II No. 16 Three Way Braves.

The Bulldogs, coming off a 2-8 season and seeking their first playoff berth since 2014, suited up more than a dozen players in the preseason, led by returnees Mani Morales, Aaron Porter and Johnathan Armendarez.

Mullin received an unexpected boost to the roster just after the start of preseason as Quayde Heard arrived from Zephyr.
