On Saturday, Sept. 12, the skies over Gillespie County Airport welcomed a group of future aviators as Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1088 hosted another Young Eagles Rally.

For many of the young participants, it was their first airplane ride, a moment that could leave a lasting impression and inspire a lifelong connection to aviation.

As the aircraft climbed away from the runway, the Young Eagles experienced the world from an entirely new perspective.
