Despite what it seems, the Texas Railroad Commission (RRC) does not actually do anything with the Railroad.

One of the oldest Departments in the state of Texas, the RRC sets rules and regulations for the oil and gas industry, energy infrastructure, various energy sources, transmission, critical resources, and waste management.

The RRC does not set any legislation.
