The Harper boys and girls cross country team competed at the Billy Nabours Oktoberfest Cross Country Invitational in Comfort last Wednesday.

"Another Wednesday, another fantastic showing by Harper cross country," Harper Cross Country Coach Kenny King said.

"At the Billy Nabours Oktoberfest Invite in Comfort, our Ladyhorns and Longhorns ran really well as they continued to prepare for district. The meet was loaded with bigger schools and district opponents." Ben Anderson paced the boys' team with a time of 18:05. 82. "Ben (Anderson) medaled in 13th and had his best time of the season," King said.
