The Texas Girls Coaches Association Class 3A No. 3 Early Lady Horns experienced defeat for the first time this volleyball season, as their 23-match win streak to start the year came to a conclusion with a straight-set loss to District 8-3A rival Tolar Tuesday night.

The Lady Horns fell by a 25-9, 25-16, 25-20 count as their record slipped to 4-1 against district foes and 23-1 on the season.

Early received five kills from Aubrie DeVillier, four from Grey Pruett, three from Ella DeVillier, and one each from Kailyn Gallardo and Ellie Shea.
