GILLESPIE COUNTY, Texas - A former Harper Independent School District staff member has been sentenced to 15 years in prison after investigators said he secretly recorded students.

The Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office says Pedro De Luna III was sentenced on Sept. 3 on the following counts: The sheriff's office said the investigation began in November 2025 after deputies were notified that De Luna had allegedly recorded a juvenile girl in a bathroom at his home.

As investigators reviewed the case, they identified 10 victims, according to the sheriff's office.
