HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Houston police said officers shot and killed a man while they were trying to serve him a warrant for indecency with a child.

Houston police said the shooting happened at a pet training and boarding business on Yupondale Street in Spring Branch Monday at about 9:30 p.m. Officers said the suspect was an employee at the business.

HPD Chief Noe Diaz said officers tried to talk to him, but he would not come out.
