Williamson County officials recently invited community members to donate shoes for a visual display honoring lives lost to suicide and the loved ones who carry their memory.

The shoe drive ran through Sept. 7 as part of the county's observance of Suicide Awareness Month.

Community members were invited to donate new or gently used shoes of any type, size or style at any Williamson County justice of the peace office.
