AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The National Weather Service confirmed two tornadoes touched down in the Texas Panhandle Tuesday night as severe storms moved across the region.
One tornado touched down about four miles southeast of Claude around 7:12 p.m. It was on the ground for about three minutes, traveling nearly one mile with a maximum width of 75 yards.
A second tornado touched down about six miles north of Canyon around 9:37 p.m. It remained on the ground for about six minutes, traveling 0. 59 miles with a maximum width of 25 yards.
